My iBook brings me whole new levels of lazy. I have the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection client on here, so I can connect to my desktop from it. Sitting in the living room, reading LiveJournal, and someone mentions a song. Rather than get up and walk all the way to my room, I can RDC to my desktop to download the song.
If my camera weren’t all the way in my room with my desktop, I would take a picture from my seat to show you just how far we’re talking here.
I’m not sure if I would call that uber-lazy or uber-l33t.
I got rid of my monitors and just use my powerbook. I rdc to my workstation that is under my desk for windows stuff and I use iham on irye to control itunes that is on my mac which is where my music lives. Life is way easier.
I typically like to RDC into my desktop from my for most applications.. then when I need something from the laptop I VNC from the desktop into the laptop and grab stuff there…. it’s really quite efficient…
